About

Tl'átḵ | Earth Branch is a dedicated team committed to supporting the cultural, ceremonial, and subsistence lifestyle for all Alaskans and promoting a healthy environment for present and future generations. Established around 10 years ago as WCA IGAP, we are guided by the values of hard work, stewardship of the land, environmental integrity, community, and sustainability.

Our team consists of Earth Branch Coordinator Kim Wickman and Earth Branch Tech Lexie Hayes. Together, we provide essential services such as education and outreach concerning solid waste and recycling, maintain a community garden, participate in the RASOR program, engage in climate adaptation planning, and promote environmental stewardship.

We are proud to be part of the SEATOR network, a collaboration of Seacoast Indigenous Guardians working to protect our coastal ecosystems. We also maintain strong partnerships with the US Forest Service and Wrangell Public Schools, further extending our reach and impact in the community.
